Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat English muffin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 piece of turkey bacon
  • 1 slice of Colby jack cheese

Instructions

  • Toast the whole wheat English muffin
  • make the egg however you want (I did mine over medium)
  • fry your bacon (I fry turkey bacon in olive oil because it makes it crispier like regular bacon)
  • place egg, turkey bacon, and slice of cheese on the muffin
  • serve with fruit or a side of yogurt and fruit

Meal Prep Tip

This is a good item to meal prep. I make enough for my husband and I to eat one every day for a week. I usually wrap them in foil and throw them in the freezer. When I want to eat one, I will unwrap it and put it on a plate to heat in the microwave.
